Gretzky Adjusting Behind the Bench

Sam Weinman at the New York Journal has a great article on Gretzky trying to find a winning formula with the Coyotes...

"...Whatever success Gretzky has in a coaching career now in its third season, he knows it will have almost nothing to do with what he could once do with a puck, but in what he coaxes out of the group of young players at his disposal. As someone who remains hockey's most beloved icon, there is the chance that a mediocre result in Phoenix could tarnish his brilliant legacy. But Gretzky's love for the game is such that he can't stay away..."

...I'm definitely hoping Gretzky is able to turn things around in Phoenix. Especially because his success in the Western Conference won't effect the Rangers.
