Rangers vs. Capitals Preview

Tonight, the New York Rangers (16-12-2) visit the Washington Capitals (11-17-2). The Rangers are coming off a 1-0 overtime win against the Devils on Sunday. Brendan Shanahan scored on the first shot of the extra session as New York snapped its three-game slide and ended New Jersey's nine-game winning streak. The Capitals look to improve to 3-0 on their current four-game homestand. For a full preview go to Yahoo! Sports.

...these are the type of games the Rangers have to win if they have any chance of making the playoffs or winning the division.

...hopefully Lundqvist's shutout against the Devils the other night will get him back on track and I look for a big performance from him tonight.

...lastly, I'm begging for some offense tonight. Any offense. Just some resemblance of offense. Won't be easy with Olie the Goalie between the pipes, but I can hope.
