Tonight, the New York Rangers (16-12-2) visit the Washington Capitals (11-17-2). The Rangers are coming off a 1-0 overtime win against the Devils on Sunday. Brendan Shanahan scored on the first shot of the extra session as New York snapped its three-game slide and ended New Jersey's nine-game winning streak. ...hopefully Lundqvist's shutout against the Devils the other night will get him back on track and I look for a big performance from him tonight.
...lastly, I'm begging for some offense tonight. Any offense. Just some resemblance of offense. Won't be easy with Olie the Goalie between the pipes, but I can hope.
