Dubinski Named YoungStars MVP

The Rangers Official Website reports that Brandon Dubinski was named MVP of the YoungStars game last night during All-Star weekend after his 2 goal 1 assist performance. Marc Staal, who also played in the game, had a goal and an assist...

"...It was a particularly big night for Dubinsky, who was named the MVP of the annual YoungStars Game. The game brought the top 16 rookies from the NHL's two conferences together for a 3-on-3 game, and Dubinsky led the East with two goals and an assist...

...Staal, meanwhile, scored a beautiful goal on a first-period semi-breakaway and assisted on the East's lone second-period goal."

...the YoungStars game was definitely entertaining with the back and forth action. But it really wasn't hockey. The commentators mentioned the possibility of using the 3 on 3 after overtime during regular season games to determine the outcome. Not sure I'm a big fan of that.

...great job by Dubinski and Staal representing the Rangers.
