Lundqvist Looking for $6 Million Per Year

According to Jim Matheson at the Edmonton Journal, it looks like Henrik Lundqvist's agent is looking for $6 million per year...

"Don Meehan represents Cujo, Nabokov and Lundqvist, as it turns out. He's probably trying to get Lundqvist around $6 million in a new deal..."

...Meehan better get this done for his client soon because he is losing the upper hand with every Ranger loss.

...just to put that $6 million number in perspective Luongo averages $6.5 million, Kiprosuff will start averaging $8 million next year and Brodeur averages $5.2 million.

Lock him him up....Lunqvist doesnt want to admit it, but his dads illness has to be killing him. Best thing might be he has off for the All Star break and can fly home to see his dad. Hopefully then he will have his head together and start playing like a $6 million a year goalie

$6 Million is not bad. I thought he would've been asking for around $8 million. Get the deal done, and move on to Avery, who is almost as important. It still amazes me how dramatically different the Rangers are with Avery in the lineup.
