Malik Meltdown

According to John Dellapina at the The Blueshirt Blog, upon hearing he was not in tonight's lineup Marek Malik stormed out into the Edmonton night...

"That Edmonton-born Jason Strudwick would return to the lineup tonight seemed likely.

But Marek Malik either hasn’t boned up on the birthplaces of his teammates or hasn’t yet completely understood how far he has fallen on the Rangers’ depth chart. Because, upon being informed that he would be the defenseman sitting out tonight to make room for Strudwick, Malik reacted angrily.

He put on his overcoat and stormed out of the Rangers’ lockerroom and into the Edmonton night. Where he was going was unclear - perhaps to Bistro Praha, the terrific Czech restaurant downtown where Jaromir Jagr and his countrymen went for dinner last night."

...how can one guy be so blind as to how bad he is. Malik you are terrible. Hopefully he gets lost somewhere in Edmonton.

We have a bad coach. Hollweg doesn't belong in the NHL, although I love his dancing. Tom needs to be fired right now. Why is Betts playing in OT. Why is hOllweg playing when the game is tied late in the third, And the 3 guys he sent out for the shoot-out, come on. This coach is bad.

Hopefully this is the end of Malieks time as a Ranger. Which was about 2 seasons to long.
If there is a coach to be fired its Perry Pearn. This guy is in charge of the powerplay which is awful. There is no way with all of this talent thay should not be able to score on the power play more consistently.
The officiating last night was awful. The NHL is getting to be a joke with how they protect the goalies. The Betts interference was terrible and the Hollweg call should have been 2 minutes. I have seen Drury take worse hits and not even get a call this season.
Finally, Something needs to done about the third lines lack of scoring. Nigel Dawes comes to mind or possibly a trade for a consistent and proven scoring threat. Its also time to say goodbye to Hollweg, and play Hossa on the 4th line. He deserves to be no higher than that, but brings a nice defensive game and some offense.
Obviously I am a very frustrated Ranger Fan, but its not time for Renney to go. Yet.

Officiating-terrible as usual-hits from behind seem to be common against the ranger D-the other night Girardi got crushed behind our net and no call was made
Coaching-it seems Renny is more friend than boss
Players-more ice time for our goto guys good players thrive on more time
Season-seems fragile-but as always there is still a hope

My humble opinions were made of my own free will but I am willing to change them if WE WIN SOME GAMES. Thanks I feel better now.
