Point Taken

The New York Rangers (20-17-5) lost to the Edmonton Oilers (18-21-4) last night by a score of 3-2 in a shootout. Sam Gagner scored his fourth shootout winner of the season, and the Oilers earned their NHL-leading 11th shootout victory of the season. Chris Drury's power-play tally with 6.2 seconds left in regulation tied it 2-2. For a full recap go to Yahoo! Sports.

...very disappointed with last night's game. That's a game they need to win. Trust me I'll take a point especially with Pittsburgh and Philadelphia winning and the Islanders picking up a point, but man we need to pickup two points against a team like Edmonton.

...Drury is finally showing us why he is such a clutch player. The play he made on the tying goal was ridiculous.

...Hey Roszival, shoot the puck!!!! How does he not get the puck to the net in overtime on the power play with our most clutch player, Drury, parked in front. Someone on the Rangers needs to tell him that he has a great shot.

...sure the officiating was terrible, but you know what, that's no excuse.

...couple of home games coming up. They need to turn this around quickly.
