Rangers vs. Canucks Preview

Tonight the New York Rangers (20-16-4) visit the Vancouver Canucks (22-14-4) in the second game of their three game Western Canada road trip. The Canucks haven't lost a home game in regulation in more than two months. The Rangers, meanwhile, haven't won in British Columbia in more than 10 years. The Rangers will have to contend with one of the league's best goalies in Roberto Luongo. However, in 17 career starts against the Rangers all with Florida, Luongo is just 5-10-1 with a tie and a 2.84 GAA. Last night against the Flames, Scott Gomez extended his points streak to 13 games, and has four goals and 15 assists over that span. Jaromir Jagr also has at least one point in eight straight, totaling four goals and 10 assists. For a full recap go to Yahoo! Sports.

...big game tonight as the Rangers don't want to lose their first two games on this road trip.

...Lunqvist needs to find his game and find it quick or this team could be in for some tough times.

...hopefully, Prucha will be available for tonight's game. The guy finally has a good game then misses the next two with an injury.

...Callahan needs to sit or be sent to Hartford. Preferably sent to Hartford to score some goals and get his confidence back.

...for the Canucks, the line of Marcus Naslund and twins Henrik and Daniel Sedin have combined for nine goals and 19 assists in the last seven games, while the rest of the team has nine goals and 14 assists.

...the Ranger offense was able to get three goals on Kiprusoff last night, I think if they can get three past Luongo they should win. But that won't be easy.
