Rangers Still Scouting the Blue Jackets

Over at the Columbus Dispatch, Aaron Portzline reports that Ranger scouts continue to be spotted at Blue Jacket games...

"...Either the Rangers' front office can't get enough of central Ohio, or there's still a trade simmering with the Blue Jackets. On Friday and last night, Rangers assistant general manager Jim Schoenfeld watched the Blue Jackets play. Director of player personnel Gordie Clark and several Rangers scouts have been in Nationwide Arena in recent weeks..."

...I hope Sather doesn't make a panic move like I suggested he do after the Flyers loss the other night. To trade a player like Prucha or Dawes for an older player such as David Vyborny would be a huge mistake.

...the best plan right now would be to hang tight until the end of the month and assess the team at that point. There's still a lot of hockey to be played.
