Shanny, Lundqvist Back; Hossa Out

At his blog The Blueshirt Blog, John Dellapina gives an update on tonight's lineup against Edmonton...

"Brendan Shanahan did not practice today but expects to play tomorrow night when the Rangers try to salvage this so-far pointless trip against the free-falling Oilers.

'It’s just a muscle spasm'...

If Shanahan goes back in, expect Marcel Hossa to come out. The frustrating winger earned no kudos for not just missing point-blank scoring opportunities at key moments in both the Calgary and Vancouver games but then by committing two silly penalties to help derail the Rangers’ comeback attempt Wednesday night vs. the Canucks.

Henrik Lundqvist will return to the net."

...great to see that Shanahan will be back in the lineup. Not because he's such a great player, but because it means Hossa will be back in the press box.
