Starting at Right Wing Marek Malik

I almost cancelled my season tickets when I read that Steve Zipay at Blue Notes reported Marek Malik practiced at forward this morning...

"Parenteau, who played five games for the Blackhawks last season (with an assist), skated on a line with Marek Malik (yes) and Marcel Hossa."

...but luckily for me, Zipay updated his blog with this piece of great news...

"Just to be clear: Marek Malik is not going to play forward tonight... Malik skated as a fill-in for practice continuity. He could be back on D or a scratch. If there's an emergency opening at forward, Jason Strudwick would most likely move up, as he's done in the past."

...Whew.

...according to Zipay it looks like the lines will be:

Drury-Gomez-Jagr
Prucha-Dubinsky-Hossa
Parenteau-Moore- Dawes (this was the line in Hartford)
Orr-Betts-Hollweg

...time for our young guys to step it up.
