Lundqvist In, Malik Still Injured

Steve Zipay at Blue Notes reports...

For the Rangers, the forward lines are the same, goalie Henrik Lundqvist is in and Marek Malik is out tonight against the Panthers, who are making a last-ditch drive toward the playoffs.

Malik is probably out even longer, because after two skates he wasn't feeling right and x-rays yesterday found a sprain near the clavicle, said coach Tom Renney. "They (the doctors) suggested that he not do anything for a couple of days," he said.

...I can't believe I'm saying this, but I hope Malik is back sooner rather than later. I don't what to give him too much credit for the team's 13 game run, but since Malik turned his game around from awful to decent the Rangers have been on a roll.
