Avery Out of Intensive Care; Strudwick Again for Game 5

John Dellapina at the Blueshirts Blog reports...

Before boarding their flight for Pittsburgh this afternoon, the Rangers were given some uplifting news: Sean Avery has been released from the intensive care unit and moved into a regular room at St. Vincent’s Hospital.

Avery is expected to remain in the hospital for several more days while recovering from the lacerated spleen he suffered in Tuesday night’s Game 3 of the Rangers’ Eastern Conference semifinal series with the Penguins.

...great news. Get well Avery.

According to Sam Weinman at the Rangers Report its likely that Jason Strudwick will again be in the line-up over Christian Backman for Game 5
