Bruins Will Be a Nice Test

When the Boston Bruins come to town tonight, the Rangers are going to get a real test to see where they are right now. Very similar to when they played in Detroit last month.

The Bruins are riding a five game winning streak and are 8-1 in their last nine games. They have been getting it done with goaltending (sound familiar) as Tim Thomas has an NHL best .946 save percentage and a 1.76 gaa good for second in the league.

However, don't think they're all defense as their 2.99 goals a game are 12th best in the league (Rangers are 21st with a 2.60). Led by former Ranger Marc Savard's 17 points and 11 assists and Phil Kessel's 7 goals.

The Rangers revamped power play (6 for their last 21) will hope to take advantage of the Bruins 22nd ranked penalty kill tonight.

The Rangers are 2-3-1 in their last 6 and will look to prove that they are for real with a win against a tough Bruins team tonight.
