Despite being back on the ice at practice this morning for the first time in a week, Scott Gomez will miss his third consecutive game tonight because of an ankle injury says Sam Weinman at The Rangers Report. Without having skated hard in over a week Gomez looks doubtful for Wednesday's game against Vancouver as well.
Gomez, who skated on his own without equipment, had this to say after practice...
“It is what it is,” Gomez said of his ankle. “It’s gotten a little better and it should get better every day.”
Weinman also reports that a day after sitting out practice with an undisclosed body contusion Markus Naslund was practicing and will play tonight.
...i'm not alarmed yet, but if he still can't go by next week then I might start to worry.
