Line-up Stays the Same; Nylander Healthy Again

Steve Zipay at Blue Notes reports that Patrick Rissmiller and Dan Fritsche are again tonight's scratches meaning the line-up will stay the same for the third consecutive game. Zipay had this quote from Renney on Rissmiller and Fritsche sitting too long...

"It's tough. We've got a couple good guys who aren't playing right now," said Renney. "But I can't worry about that, I've got to win hockey games. But who's to say those guys wouldn't help us do the same thing. One at a time."

While Sam Weinman at The Rangers Report notes that Henrik Lundqvist will be back in goal tonight with Steve Valiquette possibly starting on Monday against Edmonton.

Weinman also reminds us that former Ranger Michael Nylander (2g, 7a) is back healthy and playing well for the Capitals this season. Nylander missed the final 38 games of the season last year with a rotator cuff injury.

...while Nylander was at times frustrating with his tendency to hold on to the puck for too long with the Rangers. No one can question how he made Jaromir Jagr a better player with of his play making abilities.

...he was also almost automatic during the shootout with his slow drawn out skate towards the goaltender.
