...sorry for the late updates. Halloween party last night.

...while I can sit here and criticize Valiquette for an awful third period and be concerned that we need a better back-up, I've decided to be practical. He's a back-up goalie for a reason. If he played like he did the first two games of the season every time he'd be starting for another team. Valiquette is a back-up because he can throw in a stinker or two or five (just kidding Vali) every now and again. But more often than not Valiquette gets the job done and he has a great relationship with Lundqvist which is important. Having said all this I don't want to see Valiquette back in there until we play the Flyers again.

...i've been waiting to write this until the Rangers lost. Where has Redden gone? I stated numerous times on this blog before the season started that I was very worried about the Redden signing. In the first week of the season he was proving me wrong, but right now he's backing up my initial suspicions. Not only is he doing nothing offensively he's also a liability defensively. Which in Renney's system is not good. I read somewhere he's dealing with elbow tendinitis. If that's the case put him on the IR, let him get better and call up Potter or Fahey. Because right now he's killing us.

...i'm officially off the Fritsche bandwagon. While it's difficult to for a player to gain any momentum playing as sparingly as Fritsche has, he has done absolutely nothing with his opportunities. Prucha needs to be back in there Tuesday against the Islanders.
