Newyorkrangers.com is reporting that Henrik Lundqvist will be the Rangers lone representative at the 2009 NHL All-Star Game on Jan. 25 in Montreal. This is Lundqvist's first All-Star nod.Here is Lundqvist on the nomination...
"It's a great honor to be in the All-Star Game," said Lundqvist. "I haven't been there yet and there are a lot of goaltenders out there who are tough competition, so to make it as a goalie feels really nice."
...i was wondering if the NHL was going to take back Lundqvist's All-Star nod after last night's performance. Just kidding. Well deserved Hank.
