Rangers vs. Devils in Playoffs Again?

Sam McCaig at The Hockey News takes a look at what the playoff match-ups would look like if they started today...

New Jersey (3) vs. NY Rangers (6)

Martin Brodeur should be back in net for the Devils – and Sean Avery might very well be on the ice for the Rangers. But there’s a significant difference from last year’s New Jersey-New York Round 1 matchup: This time, Brendan Shanahan is a Devil. Bring your own helmet to this one. Outcome: Devils in six games

...while McCaig is saying Devils in six, if the playoffs started right now I'd have to say Devils in a sweep. The situation very much reminds me of 2006 when the Rangers limped into the playoffs against a red hot Devils team and got swept right out of the tournament.
