Torts First Practice

Jane McManus at The Rangers Report says John Tortorella's first practice was much more uptempo with shorter drills and sprints.

McManus also reports on Tortorella’s first lines:

Naslund-Gomez-Zherdev
Dubinsky-Drury-Callahan
Dawes-Korpikoski-Prucha
Sjostrom-Betts-Orr

Tortorella's introduction will be later today.

Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants says today's practice had the feel of the first day of training camp.

...i already love this guy with Prucha back in the line-up.

Agree. Gotta love the fact that Prucha will get a much deserved fresh start.

plus from what i've heard.. Redden is on the third pairing... he should be in the press box, but i guess this is the next best thing

anything with voros out of the line up is a good thing
