A Kinder, Gentler Tortorella?

Jay Feaster at The Hockey News says the Rangers players have yet to see the real John Tortorella...

"Make no mistake: when Torts decides it is time to “get behind” his team, a kinder and gentler John Tortorella takes over. That is the position the Rangers are in now. However, that attitude will prevail only as long as Torts believes he is getting a proper response from his players."

...i think Tortorella recognized right away he was dealing with a fragile team, which is probably the reason for his calm demeanor. But like Feaster says in his article, next September the players will see the real "Tortorella Time."
