Steve Zipay at Blue Notes reminds us that lost in the shuffle of the whole Avery/Brodeur fiasco is the Garden return of Brendan Shanahan.Shanahan currently has 5 goals and 7 assists in his 27 games with the Devils. He has only three points on the power play (1g, 2a).
Zipay also gives us an update on Michal Rozsival's possible return for Thursday's game at Carolina.

...while I know Shanahan brings more than goals to the table, by just looking at his stats I think the Rangers made the right decision not bringing him back.
