Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants has this quote from Chris Drury on his broken right hand...
"The good news today is I don't need surgery," said Drury, who will wear a brace for a couple of weeks.
...while I give Drury all the credit in the word for playing with a broken hand, I feel the Rangers should have shut him down for the series. They went 2-0 (1 regular season game) without him and his hand limited his effectiveness. I know he scored the game winner in Game 4, but I think he ended up hurting the Rangers more than helping.
Speaking of not needing surgery Gross also reports that Blair Betts refused to rip Donald Brashear for his blow to the head.
Finally, Gross has Sean Avery heaping praise on John Tortorella.
