RIP 2008-09 Rangers

Over at Puck Daddy, J.P. from Japers' Rink (a Washington Capitals blog) eulogizes the 2008-09 Rangers...

"Friends, we gather today as we have 68 times over the last 69 years, to mourn yet another spring without a Stanley Cup championship for our beloved New York Rangers, victims this season of death by asphyxiation; for when their leader, the mighty King Henrik, choked, there was nary a Blueshirt around to perform the Heimlich maneuver."

...this eulogy is brutal. But sadly, I can't refute any of it.
