In the last two weeks the Atlanta Thrashers have made a major impact on the Eastern Conference playoff run.We all know how they defeated the Rangers in OT last week. Then a few games later they defeated the suddenly resurgent Sabres (4 points behind the Rangers) in OT as well.
Finally, last night they pulled off the biggest upset, for Ranger fans, by taking out the Florida Panthers 3-1 leaving the Cats two points behind the Rangers with four games to play.
The Rangers are going to need Atlanta's help one more time as they host the Panthers on April 9, the second to last game of the season.
