Newyorkrangers.com reports Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. ET, the Hockey Hall of Fame selection committee will announce the members of the 2009 Hall of Fame induction class. This year's nominees include Brian Leetch, Steve Yzerman, Brett Hull and Luc Robitaille.If selected, Leetch stands to become the first U.S.-born defenseman to reach the Hall in more than 60 years worth of induction ceremonies.
...i think we can all pretty much guarentee Leetch is getting in.
...while it was great to see Messier get into the Hall. For me, seeing Leetch get in is much more special because he was a Ranger draft pick who we were able to see transform into one of the best defensemen of all time.
