...i liked Morris on the team when he came in. Nice veteran presence who could work with some of the younger defensemen the Rangers might need to rely on this season. A two year deal for about $2 million per sounds good to me.

By adding Morris to Rozy, Redden, Staal and Girardi, then there is just one spot for the kids to fight for - definitely not enough considering there are five or so who are capable ...

Hey Morris isn't bad...As long as he comes cheap, I don't mind...Less ice time for Rozsival,which is always a good thing...
Morris seemed to be the only D man with a BLAST shot from the point, if I remember correctly.
