Anisimov to be Bounced Around

Michael Obernauer at the Blueshirt Blog reports that John Tortorella likes Artem Anisimov's diversity...

“He’s the kind of guy, like I said with Donald (Brashear) - not the same type of player obviously - that I can bounce him around in different spots,” Tortorella said, noting that Anisimov starting out as the fourth-line center means very little. “He’s been one of our better faceoff guys, we’re trying to teach him how to kill penalties, I think he’s done a pretty good job there. So we’ll see.”

...the kid's been impressive and gives Tortorella lots of options.

Obernauer also reports that Tortorella will keep Vinny Prospal in the middle tonight alongside Marian Gaborik at least at the start. But the head coach insisted that he’ll take a look at Dubinsky in that roll as well.

...if Torts decides to keep Dubinsky and Prospal at center and Grachev impresses in the last two preseason games, Brian Boyle (a scratch tonight) could find himself headed to Hartford.
