Rangers a Way Out for Ottawa's Heatley Woes

Wayne Scanlon at the Ottawa Citizen says the best way for the Senators to get rid of Dany Healtey is trading him to the Rangers...

"One that made a lot of sense, and still does, involved the New York Rangers and two of their good, young players, defenceman Marc Staal and forward Brandon Dubinsky."

Scanlon adds that for the Rangers to be able to absorb Heatley's contract Ottawa could agree to exchange Michel Rozsival and his big contract for one of their young defensemen, from among Brian Lee, Alex Picard or Chris Campoli.

...no way this happens. Too many variables. If the Rangers do trade Staal and Rozsival, who is playing defense? Redden, Girardi and four defensemen with no NHL experience? And with Dubinsky gone are the Rangers really going to rely on Arnason to play important minutes at center?

...while I'd love to have Heatley's offense on the Rangers, they'd be left with more holes than they already have.

I'm hoping we never trade Staal. He'll be a top 10 D man within 2 years

I hope your right ^^^ Hope fully Staal, Dubs, and Cally live up to expectation. Even Girardi might have a bright future
