Gaborik, Callahan Not Dressed at Practice

Update, 2:40:
Steve Zipay of Blue Notes follows-up on the below item, stating that Marian Gaborik and Ryan Callahan were sent home from practice today due to illness...

"They were sick, colds or something, and we wanted to get them out of here to keep them away from the other guys," said coach John Tortorella.

...good choice by Torts. The last thing they need is half the team going down with an illness.

With Gaborik and Callahan out these were the lines:
Prospal-Dubinsky-Lisin
Avery-Drury-Kotalik
Higgins-Anisimov-Voros
Brashear and Boyle were spares.

Original Post:
Steve Zipay of Blue Notes and Jim Cerny of newyorkrangers.com, via Twitter, report that Marian Gaborik and Ryan Callahan did not dress for practice. No reason given.

Cerny adds that the Rangers had a very high tempo practice complete with hard skating drills, plenty of pushups and sprints.

Assuming they'll have answers after practice.

...hopefully the tough practice was the reason to hold both players out and give them an extra day's rest. Especially important with Gaborik.
