Higgins, Dubi Together; Brashear Back

Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants reports from practice today that Christopher Higgins and Brandon Dubinsky will start on a line together with Ryan Callahan tonight but John Tortorella said that this was an important game for Higgins to retain his spot in the lineup.

...glad to see Torts giving Dubinsky and Higgins another chance.

Gross adds that Donald Brashear returns to the lineup with Aaron Voros back to being a healthy scratch.

...hopefully, Brashear can give the Rangers a bit of a spark tonight.

Finally, Gross notes that despite lingering stiffness in his right foot, Henrik Lundqvist will make the start in net tonight.

lol @ "...hopefully, Brashear can give the Rangers a bit of a spark tonight."

First he has to chisel off the shin-deep cement around his ankles.
