Rangers 5, Senators 2

The New York Rangers (1-1-0) defeated the Ottawa Senators (0-1-0) by the score of 5-2, tonight. For a recap and box score go to Yahoo! Sports and newyorkrangers.com.

...if that's a sneak preview of what Ranger fans can expect this year, we are in for a fun ride.

...congrats to Del Zotto on his first NHL goal and punching his ticket to stay in the NHL for the rest of the season.

...Dubinsky is a man on a mission to prove he is worth his contract.

...speaking of Dubinsky is the Rangers first line the best in the NHL (4g, 2a tonight)? And if so, does Tortorella break them up when Avery comes back and most likely Boyle gets sent down meaning Prospal has to center another line?

...the Rangers have the most lethal power play that can't score.

...Lundqvist=Ridiculous.

...i thought Redden was actually not horrendous tonight. Rozsival (aka the human turnover) on the other hand, very horrendous.

...what was up with the pre-game festivities? Blue Man Group? No introductions? Redden, Rozsival and Brashear should thank who ever came up with that idea.

...Voros did his best Dean Youngblood impression after the game tonight, as it looked like he worked on his fighting in the barn all summer with his brother Kelly.

...off tomorrow then on to the Rock on Monday.

Dubi looks like a first line center tonight--and a pretty darn good one. Let's hope he doesn't peter out after the first 11 games like last year. Man, he's looked strong on the puck so far, though. And what a shot he's displaying. Earn that money, kiddo. You looked great tonight!
