7. Rangers - The former top-ranked team took it on the chin last week, losing all three games by a combined score of 16-9, revealing some defensive cracks that weren't seen earlier in the season.
The Rangers also dropped in the CBS Sports, Fox Sports and SI.com power rankings.

I can't stand power rankings. Prior to the season starting, ESPN had the Rangers at 23. Another meaningless statistic conjured up to anger fans and spur conversation. Clearly, it has worked haha.
