Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants reports that Alexei Semenov was not on the ice this morning and may not accompany the team to Pittsburgh as apparently some issues have arisen with his contract.
If Semenov does not accompany the team to Pittsburgh, the Rangers will not bring along a seventh defenseman such as Corey Potter or Bobby Sanguinetti.
...not a big deal right now, as I didn't expect him to play this weekend. But hopefully they can get it straightened out soon.

The issue is, he is having second thoughts and might want to play in the KHL. Probably for more $$.
