NHL.com reports that Vancouver Canucks defenseman Shane O'Brien has been suspended for one game, without pay, for poking Sean Avery with his stick while both players were on their respective benches. No penalty was assessed at the time of the incident.
...sorry I missed that game. Higgins' first goal, two suspensions and a punchless melee. Too bad they lost.
