Panthers 3, Rangers 2

The New York Rangers (11-10-1) lost to the Florida Panthers (10-9-2) by the score of 3-2, tonight. For a recap and box score go to Yahoo! Sports and newyorkrangers.com.

...for a team that's supposed to pride themselves on the forecheck, they got completely out-forechecked by the Panthers tonight. Florida showcased the type of speed players you need on your team to run Torts system.

...can anyone besides Prospal and Gaborik score please?!?!?!

...i know they have two key injuries, but it's time for the coach to figure this out. Because right now he's not doing a very good job. Over playing the top line, calling out Gilroy, putting Brashear on the second line. C'mon Torts, let's get these guys going.

...a backhanded flip from the point? Really Hank?

...nice to see Torts give Brashear a chance. 5:41 of ice time.

...i don't think Higgins or Avery could score on an empty net right now.

...atrocious refereeing in the third period. Refs missed at least three calls late.

...so whose next to play on the top line with Prospal and Gaborik? My vote goes to Avery.

...an assist and a +1 from Rozsival. Trade him while he's hot.

...off tomorrow then Columbus is in town for my first game of the season.
