Gaborik Durable?

Michael Obernauer at the Blueshirts Blog reports that Marian Gaborik sat out today's practice to rest his sore neck which was tweaked in the first period last night. After the injury Gaborik received treatment on the bench but returned to the game...

“He got bounced around on the ice there - I think he kind of wrenched his neck a bit,” Torts said. “He was a little sore so we just gave him the day off.”

...for all the preseason talk about how injury prone Gaborik was, I've got to tell you, he looks pretty durable to me. I've seen him fight through a few bumps and bruises this season and the guy doesn't shy away from the rough stuff.

...Ranger fans are pretty lucky to be able to watch a special player like this game in and game out.

Obernauer also reports on Brandon Dubinsky's return from injury and the possibility of breaking up Gaborik and Vinny Prospal when he does.

...hopefully that leads to the break up of Drury and Callahan as well.
