Lecavalier Not Coming to Rangers

Lyle Richardson at Spector's Sports shoots down current trade rumors including this one involving the Rangers...

"Vincent Lecavalier to the Rangers, Canadiens or Kings: If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a hundred times: big-salaries players with multi-year contracts containing movement clauses aren’t traded during the season. Period."

...finally a voice of reason with regard to Lecavalier.

Richardson also denies a Brandon Dubinsky for Edmonton's C Andrew Cogliano rumor.

Of course he's not. I don't think anybody who believes in reality ever thought he would be. Even in the offseason, the Rangers front office isn't smart enough to put a team together that competes and has the financial flexibility to get deals like this done.
