Jim Matheson at the Edmonton Journal reports that the Rangers would certainly be in the hunt for Vincent Lecavalier if he wants to waive his no-trade, no-move clause in Tampa Bay.Matheson cites Lecavalier's relationship with John Tortorella and how wonderful he'd look alongside Marian Gaborik.
As always, Ranger cap issues stand in the way of a potential deal, making Matheson wonder if the Lightning would take back either Chris Drury or Michal Rozsival for the struggling star.
...unless Lightning ownership completely loses their mind, don't count on this happening.

Maybe Sather has some compromising photos of the Tampa Bay leadership like he had on Montreal with the Gomez miracle trade. :P
