No Voros or Brashear

Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants reports that neither of the Rangers tough guys, Donald Brashear (injury) nor Aaron Voros (healthy scratch), will be in the line-up tonight at Buffalo....

Avery-Drury-Callahan
Higgins-Christensen-Kotalik
Lisin-Boyle-Parenteau

Staal-Rozsival
Del Zotto-Girardi
Heikkinen-Gilroy

...i know Voros doesn't strike fear into even the worst NHL fighter, but at least Ranger opponents knew coming into the game that if they wanted to take liberties with any of the Rangers top players they would have to throw down. Now unless the Sabres are worried about Boyle (probably not), they can pretty much beat on Gaborik all night long without worrying about any repercussions.

...we Ranger fans surely remember what would happen to the Blueshirts when Orr was inexcusably held out of the line-up in the past (Philly in 2007 and Capitals in last year's playoffs). This team needs an enforcer in the line-up and I'm not happy about this move at all.
