Drury: No One Here Is Going To Quit

Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants has this quote from Chris Dury at today's practice...

“No one here is going to quit, no one here is going to mope around,” captain Chris Drury said. “It’s a historic division rival in our building. “The only thing anybody is this locker room should be worried about is the opening faceoff against the Islanders.”

...i'm not worried about the team quitting now because I had assumed they already did a week ago.

Ryan Callahan or Sean Avery, both who appeared to hurt their legs on Sunday, did not skate today. Gross says Avery is likely to play tomorrow vs. the Islanders.

Gross also reports that today's practice was dedicated to the power play which struggled again on Sunday (0-6). Michael Rozsival was inserted on the first unit in place of Olli Jokinen.

...the only thing that could help this power play would be bringing Brian Leetch out of retirement.

93% chance we don't make it into the playoffs to get smoked by Washington in the 1st round. 5% chance we get in - same result.

100% chance we score less than 2 goals a game for the rest of the season.

..or signing Zubov. Let's really jump on the ’94 and ride Zubie, pretty sure he had the most points that year as a Ranger...
