Maple Leafs 3, Rangers 2, OT

The New York Rangers (10th, 33-32-10 - 74 pts.) lost to the Toronto Maple Leafs (15th, 28-35-12 - 68 pts.) by the score of 3-2 in overtime. For a recap and box score go to Yahoo! Sports and newyorkrangers.

...not even a loss of that magnitude can wipe the smile off my face from the Butler University Bulldogs making it to their first Final Four.

...now to the game, that's as bad as it gets folks. With the Flyers and Canadiens also losing the Rangers missed a huge opportunity to gain some major ground. Add in the fact that both Boston and Atlanta won and the Rangers are probably one more loss away from being out of the playoffs.

...as I said pregame, why would Torts drastically change the line-up when the team was finally showing some chemistry? Got to put tonight's loss at his feet.

...Lundqvist was again ridiculous, but it seems like he's been giving up some weak, back-breaking goals lately (See Boston game).

...wouldn't mind seeing Parenteau stay in the line-up over Lisin and Voros for the rest of the season.

...-3 for Girardi. Yikes!!!!

....shocked that Shelley and Orr didn't get at it.

...season on the line Tuesday on Long Island.

How many years did Renney make the playoffs before he was fired? How many times will Torts change the lines? Oh forget it, I'm sick of the whole thing.
