Rangers 5, Maple Leafs 1

The New York Rangers (37-33-10) defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs (29-38-14) by the score of 5-1, tonight. For a recap and box score go to Yahoo! Sports and newyorkrangers.com.

...now that's a how a desperate team plays. Great to see these guys finally ready to play from the drop of the puck.

...i called out the Rangers top scorers for not coming to play last night and tonight they responded - Christensen (2 goals, +2), Prospal (1g, 1a, +2) and Jokinen (1g, 1a, +2). Let's just hope Christensen is ok.

...Dubinsky can never, ever be traded after the way he stuck up for Gaborik tonight. I hope Girardi was taking notes.

...great comeback effort by The King tonight.

...now that's the Jokinen I thought the Rangers were getting from Calgary.

...i am loving Voros right now. 2g, 2a in the last five games.

...amazingly the Rangers control their own destiny. Sweep the home-and-home vs. the Flyers and they're in. It all starts Friday night at MSG.

Prust was that little pinhead's "BEAST."

I compared him Adam Graves yesterday. What more do you want?

haha, true, true.

The Leafs are the worst team statistically in the East btw.

Let's go Rangers!
