Steve Zipay at Blue Notes reports that the Rangers search for a back-up goaltender includes Peter Budaj, formerly of Colorado, who made $1.25 mil last season.Budaj was 5-5-2 with a 2.64 gaa, .917 save% and 1 shutout last season and for his career is 86-71-23, 2.71 gaa, .903 and 8 shutouts.
Martin Biron, Johan Hedberg and Patrick Lalime are also on the Rangers list.
