Drury Attends Yankee Game But Nobody Notices

Via Puck Daddy, comes this pic of Chris Drury caught on the YES Network at last night's Yankee game in which, according to Puck Daddy reader Eric 'NBYR34', the Yankee announcers didn't even acknowledge him...

"I don't know what's more interesting - the fact that Chris Drury was at tonight's NYY game against Philly, or that the cameras were on him for over 30 seconds and the YES announcers didn't even mention him, i.e. 'And Rangers captain Chris Drury is in attendance with his family'. Completely blew him off and went on about the trivia question at the bottom."

...not sure if this is an example of how unassuming Drury is or how hockey, despite the large Olympic and Stanley Cup ratings, is way off the map as far as interest in the New York area.

Actually a sad commentary in regards to the announcers and the broadcast team as a whole.
