Jessiman Signs with Blackhawks

Capgeek tweeted yesterday that the Stanley Cup Champion Blackhawks have signed former Rangers 2003 first round bust Hugh Jessiman for one-year $500,000.

...and the Blackhawks have just guaranteed themselves back-to-back Stanley Cups.

...we all know Jessiman's story so no need to depress anyone today. And if you don't know his story you're better off not knowing.

In other former Ranger news Dan Cloutier is now the goaltender coach of the OHL's Barrie Colts and former Avangard Omsk coach and current Tampa Assistant Wayne Flemming talks about the death of Ranger prospect Aleksei Cherepanov.

Jessiman has been doing great w/ The Admirals, I really feel that this year will be the year he plays in a NHL game. Good luck Hugh and all the best. rio
