It seems like these kids need some work, although Grachev seems out of place to me with those kids, i think he has a legitimate shot to make the team this year and i hope he does.
My thoughts...McIlrath - like the size and intensity. You can tell he needs to grow into those boots, but some potential. Grachev did seem like a man among boys, but I worry about big forwards that don't use their size (see Ulf Dahlen and Peter Nedved.) Bourque - nice quickness, and i don't think his size will hamper him. Stepan Krieder Mcdonaugh - looked solid, especially Stepan. Great video, the biggest takeaway for me is the solid defensive corps they are establishing. But it's really all academic, as they will trade them all away in the next three years.
I don't see that happening at all-trading away prospects for what. You don't go through losing seasons to throw away the fruit of that labor. Especially when you are dealing with cap issues and the only remedy is to bring up a young core to help[ control costs. Besides Slats will not be here after next year.

You have to assume Grachev has the best chance to make the club. Unless he has a poor camp. Although I keep hearing Ranger brass is hoping for Stepan.
Cant watch it right now on my phone but very pleased to hear Grachev looks ready.
