I'm not mad at it! With a little bit of cleaning up in Photoshop it could work, haha. I like it.

You know what's funny, every time I see it on the blog I like it more and more.

Mess looks great - but the words would look so much better if they were in a font similar to the way he tried to handwrite it. I love the concept though

i love it...kind of looks like a fourth grader did it, but that's why it's cool...especially if you were a 4th grader in '94

Please don't use any of these other than number 3. Number 3 looks the best and most professional- the typographic elements and aesthetics perfectly complement the blog. Take it from an advertising design major. Conceptually the others, including the current one, are cool, but without execution like #3, these really can't compare.

I'm an art director who wishes I had time for this contest :-) The style of this one is wonderful, but it's time to look forward, not back. While the one with Avery in Brodeur's grill needs a slight design tweak, it BEST captures the sentiment "Doing the dirty work in front of the net" etc.

anonymous 2...if your a graphics design major step up and submit your own.

"oooo... listen to me... i'm an advertising design major... i was scared of taking math classes so i went the communications route instead... this totally makes me the authority on blog banners... also, i like grilled cheese."

i like this one for a day, but the novelty would wear off quite quickly.

Winner winner, chicken dinner. Put it in the books.

would love to but i have a job and no time. not bashing anyone's submissions, just voicing opinion. must feel good to make snide remarks on an internet forum, though.

This one is funny and cool but it's not one that I want to see all year long.
